No doubt we’ll have a rush of new student registration this week and can use your help in the Counseling Office, guiding new parents in filling out some paperwork and sending them home with other info flyers. The APG PTSA Is looking for new folks! It’s an exciting time to be part of the APG PTSA Board as we embark on the APG modernization project and continue to support our great teachers and students.

All positions have one-year terms. Elections will be held during the PTSA general meeting on Thursday, April 25, at 9am. Please remember to ask your nominee before submitting their name.
Note: To be eligible, a nominee must have been a PTSA member for at least 30 days prior to membership. This means the deadline for a nominee to join the APG PTSA is March 25. There are two ways to join:
(1) Fill in a form at the main office and include a $10 check to “APG PTSA,” or
(2) Go to https://jointotem.com/ca/san-francisco/a-p-giannini-middle-pta/join/register (there is a $1 convenience fee).

Need to spruce up your garden or potted plants for Spring? Take advantage of our last Growing Up Green fundraiser for this school year. Shop at any Sloat Garden Center from 3/22 through 3/31, simply mention APG at checkout, and we will receive credit towards goods for our school garden. Again, thanks for your support!
It’s that time of year again: school assignment letters are expected to arrive the week of 3/18. We are looking for volunteers to help new families register at APG that week and the week of 4/1. Please take a look at the convenient volunteer shifts on our APG Sign Up page. You’ll also see other ways you can help, from garden laundry to supplying snacks for staff meetings.
