PTSA General Meetings
General PTSA meetings are a great way for parents/caregivers, students, and staff to participate actively in our school community. We share info below about our five General Meetings, and through all our communication channels.
DATES OF OUR GENERAL MEETINGS IN 2025-26 – All parents/caregivers and teachers/staff are welcome to our meetings. Join us on:
- Wednesday, August 27th, 6:00pm, Hybrid (in-person and Zoom; details and zoom link shared by email, bulletin and newsletter); See AGENDA Here. Read SLIDE DECK Here.
- Wednesday, November 12th, 6:30pm, Zoom – SLIDE DECK HERE.
- Wednesday, January 28th, 6:30pm, Zoom – Community + PTSA Meeting; discussion about the APG Budget; learn about the latest about our school budget and proposed cuts. UPDATE: SLIDE DECK HERE . We’re grateful that Supt. Maria Su, BOE Commissioner, Supryia Ray, and SFUSD Head of Comms & Governance, Hong Mei Pang, were able to join our meeting and answer questions.
- Wednesday, March 18th, 6:30pm, Zoom: Special Presentation on Media Literacy + PTSA Updates. SLIDE DECK. We’re joined by Jennifer Berger of Ready, Set, Screen for an insightful presentation and Q&A about media literacy for children and teens. VIDEO LINK.
- Wednesday, April 15th, 6:00pm, Zoom: PTSA Board Election, Math/Algebra 1 Info Session, and General Meeting. PTSA MEETING SLIDE DECK HERE. MATH/ALGEBRA 1 APRIL 2026 SLIDE DECK HERE and MATH FAQ HERE. (Math Class Choices were sent to parents/students by their APG Counselors.)
At each general PTSA meeting, we discuss recent and upcoming school initiatives, events, and activities, share our PTSA budget, and provide updates from our school admin. We do NOT record meetings, so please attend them and read slide decks to stay in the loop. To be a voting participant at any of our budget or election meetings, you have to be an APG PTSA Member – click here to join for at least 30 days prior to each meeting. We are stronger together ~ the more of us who participate, the bigger the impact we have within our school community. Let’s do this, Jaguars!
